Mangala Group of Colleges is Running Under Mangalore Charitable Trust®
The Para Medical Courses together with the Nursing Courses offered by Mangala Charitable Trust contribute not only towards divers health needs of the local people, but also caters to qualify patient care as well as towards preparing quality health care personnel for the entire country and abroad. These courses are designed to provide a balance of professional and general education and to enable students become para medical technicians and professional nurses.
Mangala College of Para Medical Sciences was established in the year 2004. The course outline and the syllabus are designed by the Para Medical Board, Government of Karnataka. The fundamental idea behind is to develop and mould the students as successful individuals to get a job not only in India but also abroad. The course provides a comprehensive idea, principle, and practices of various para medical procedures.
The management of Mangala Charitable Trust ® believes that para medical course is a formal education preparation, which should provide a broad and sound foundation for the practice of para medical service that is to be practised and propagated irrespective of the sex, religion, cast, and creed. The courses are designed to provide a balance of professional and general education, and to enable students become professional para medical technicians. Special training in para medical sciences including Dialysis Technology and Ophthalmic Technology Course has been introduced first in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Districts. Ours is the fourth college offering such courses in Karnataka state.

Clinical Experiences
The students are provided clinical experience in Mangala Hospital & Mangala Kidney Foundation and other hospitals – Yenepoya Medical College Hospital, Raj Pathology Laboratory, and Mallikatta Neuro Center. All these institutions provide training for multi-disciplinary clinical experience in the course concerned.
The students will have wide clinical exposure from Government Wenlock Hospital & Lady Goschen Hospital which is the largest general hospital in Dakshina Kannada District having both surgical and medical departments.
Hostel
Separate hostels for boys & girls with essential furniture, fixtures, 24 hours hot water, telephone, television, and other modern facilities are available. The entire area is secured with CCTV Surveillance.
The resident wardens ensure the welfare of the students. Hygienic and nutritious veg and non-veg food are served in a homely atmosphere.

The school has an excellent library with 1,636 reference and issue books, the Latest health-related magazines, newsletters, CDs, and IT materials available for reference.
The entire atmosphere of the library is just right for the students to study. The entire area is secured with CCTV Surveillance.
Transport
The College has its own fleet of many buses to ensure comfortable transportation for its students. These buses run on all working days on various routes through the city. The buses run efficiently and punctually in accordance with stipulated time schedules.
Auditorium
A well-ventilated, spacious 500 seating capacity with modern amenities made available for the celebration of all functions.
Playground
Emphasis is laid on the overall development of the students. Annual sports day is conducted and the students are honored. A number of opportunities are provided for the students to develop their skills and talents.
