About Yenepoya University
Emboldened by the overwhelming positive response of the community and the students, the management perceived a need to develop into a University, where autonomy and self reliance would place the institutions on the global map and would internally motivate them to higher levels of excellence. The IAE sponsored the formation of a new trust, the Yenepoya University, which after due process of inspection by the University Grants Commission (UGC), was recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India on 27 February 2008, vide their notification No. F.9-11/2007-U.3(A). The Yenepoya University is the first private University in the District of Dakshin Kannada (South Canara).

Library
Each campus has Separate library of area 14550 sq.ft. It has separate reading areas for undergraduates and postgraduates. All has a seating capacity of about 200 which is well illuminated with natural light. The library is under electronic surveillance so that no reading material is taken outside the library.
- The students and the faculty members are allowed to browse the internet from 9 am to 9P.M There are a total of 34 computer systems. The internet room is fully air-conditioned.
- Reprography: There is also a reprography service, where the study material can be photocopied on a payment basis.
- Scanning services are also available.
- The library offers free unlimited Wi-Fi for its readers.
- Easy-Lib software has been installed for making the searching for books, journals simpler.

Hostel
We build well-ventilated, spacious hostels for girls and boys on the campus of AJ Institute of Medical Science and AJ Engineering College. The facilities include self-contained toilets and baths, study tables with cabinets for books, wardrobes, cots, and mineral water. Air-conditioned rooms are availed on request. The hostel mess provides good quality, hygienic well-balanced food.
Gym
All AJ campuses is well equipped with an in-house gymnasium. Physical activity is good for your mental health. Experts believe that exercise releases chemicals in your brain that make you feel good. A healthy mind resides in a Healthy Body, complying with the saying, a professionally managed environment is created for the students. Both Physical and Mental Health play an important role in the well-being of an Individual. Regular exercise can also boost your self-esteem and help you concentrate, sleep, look and feel better.
Transport
The College has its own fleet of many buses to ensure comfortable transportation for its students. These buses run on all working days on various routes through the city. The buses run efficiently and punctually in accordance with stipulated time schedules.
Auditorium
The A.J Institute of Dental Sciences has a well-equipped Air-conditioned auditorium with a capacity of over 950 people. This auditorium is an ideal venue for conferences, workshops, and seminars. While it is also utilized for cultural activities, sporting activities, and other indoor activities.
Bank and ATM
Canara bank has a full-fledged branch with a core banking network ATM and internet-banking facilities on the college campus. it offers all types of banking services to the staff and students. It functions for 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday. Student fees and other payments are remitted through this in a campus bank branch. 24-hour ATM service with two ATMs are available.
Sports
A.J institute of dental sciences provides various games & sports facilities within the college campus. The future of a nation is healthy only when its people are physically fit and strong. AJIDS lays adequate stress on physical fitness and mental agility. Sports and games activities form an integral part of education here. Students are encouraged maximum in the field of sports and facilitated with all required equipment to play the games of Football, Cricket, Throw Ball, Basketball, Indoor Stadium (Shuttle, Badminton), Table Tennis, and Athletics.
